Zach Kohler

Zach is a magician and philosopher from Brooklyn, New York. He attained his Bachelors degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Pace University in New York City, and is completing his Masters degree in Philosophy from The New School for Social Research.

He has published innovative works on magic theory and lectured on major philosophical topics including, but not limited to: Aesthetics, Ethics, Kant, Religion, Post-colonialism, and Psychoanalysis.

His current research focuses on the aesthetics of theatrical magic. Other interests include the history of sorcery and witchcraft in the medieval and early modern periods, as well as how magical thinking is utilized in socio-political spheres in the twenty-first century.
